DO I RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION FOR MY ORDER?
YES. When you place a Credit Card order through our secure server, you will immediately get an e-mail confirmation with all the information about the order you just placed. Additionally, one of our representatives will contact you by e-mail, usually within 24 to 48 hours and let you know the status of your order. Just simply print your order confirmation and you will have a record of your purchase.

CAN MERCHANDISE BE SHIPPED TO OTHER THAN THE BILLING ADDRESS OF CREDIT CARD HOLDER?
For your protection and ours, ALL orders are subject to address verification and merchandise can only be shipped to addresses on file with the credit card holder's bank. If you wish to have your merchandise shipped to other than your billing address, you must contact your bank and ensure that they update your file with an alternate shipping address along with making arrangements to fax a copy of your drivers license and actual credit card to us.
IF WE CANNOT VERIFY ADDRESS, WE CANNOT SHIP

DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS ON INTERNATIONAL ORDERS?
Sorry, but we do not accept credit cards for any International purchases as your address cannot be confirmed. These orders can only be completed with payment in advance by Cashier's check, money order or Western Union Payment. Wire transfer will only be accepted on International Orders if buyer supplies us with routing number, account number, bank name and address, and authorizes withdrawal in the amount agreed upon prior to shipment.
Payment must clear both our bank and buyer's bank before merchandise is shipped. No merchandise will be shipped until payment is received.
Additionally, please note that we DO NOT accept PayPal on International Orders at this time as your address cannot be confirmed.

DO I HAVE TO BE HOME TO SIGN FOR PACKAGE?
Since, insurance is included on all orders that are shipped, UPS, Federal Express & USPS require that someone be available to accept for delivery of package. If this is a problem, then you must make arrangements with either UPS, Federal Express or USPS for a specific delivery time or for Customer Pick-UP.

IS MY MERCHANDISE SHIPPED WITH INSURANCE?
Yes, insurance is included, "FREE OF CHARGE", on all orders that are shipped. Please note that you may have to sign for your package.

DO YOU CHARGE EXTRA FOR SHIPPING?
At LIFE'S A GEM, shipping within Continental United States is INCLUDED FREE OF CHARGE on all orders over $250.00. All orders over $250.00 within Continental United States are shipped Standard Ground Service or US MAIL free of charge. For INTERNATIONAL ORDERS, these rates DO NOT APPLY. We must email you back with the exact shipping costs which must be added to the price of your order. The following additional shipping services are available:

WHAT ARE YOUR SHIPPING RATES FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS?
Shipping to overseas countries is NOT INCLUDED in the cost of the merchandise. As the rates vary from country to country, we must email you back on each International Order with the exact cost of your shipping. Additionally, LIFE'S A GEM IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for any duties or taxes that are due upon entry of merchandise to a foreign port.
